Custom AI — LEGAL
AI Receptionist for Law Firms
Custom AI — engineered for law firms. Not a templated SaaS plan.
Every missed call could be a case-generating lead. Aria captures intake, runs case-type triage and preliminary conflict checks, schedules consults, and gets potential clients to your desk with a structured summary in hand — before a competitor calls them back first.
Live demo — personal injury intake
How Aria handles a new-client call at a law firm
A real call to a personal injury practice. Aria identifies the case type, captures full contact information, runs through liability and treatment facts, then books the consult and routes a structured intake summary to the attorney — in a single 90-second conversation.

How It Works
Five things happen on every inbound call to Aria — without your team picking up the phone.
Every missed call is a missed case
Legal consumers shop. A potential client with a car accident, an estate question, or a divorce inquiry will call three or four firms in the first ten minutes after deciding to call anyone. The firm that answers first, captures the intake well, and books the consult wins the engagement. Voicemail loses.
Lead-generating calls hit voicemail
Marketing spend, SEO, paid ads — all designed to ring the phone. When that phone goes to voicemail at lunch or after 5pm, the cost-per-call doesn't go away. Only the lead does.
Case-type triage is inconsistent
A receptionist who isn't trained on every practice area routes inconsistently — a personal injury call gets transferred to family law, or a complex commercial dispute gets booked into a generic 30-minute slot.
Conflict checks happen too late
Discovering a conflict after the consult is on the calendar wastes the prospect's time and an attorney's hour. Preliminary conflict checks should happen at the moment of intake.
Intake forms slow the consult
If the attorney walks into the consult cold, the first 20 minutes are demographic and fact-gathering. Real legal evaluation can't start until basic intake is done.
Existing clients can't get through
When the phones are tied up with prospect intake, existing clients with case updates or court date questions get pushed to voicemail. That's how clients leave.
How Aria covers each gap
Aria is configured for your firm's practice areas, your fee structures, your conflict database, and your consultation policies. It is not a generic answering service — it is a voice agent trained on how your intake process actually works.
24/7 front desk on your existing line
Aria is your front desk. First point of contact for every inbound call — not overflow, not after-hours-only. Every prospect who calls hears a confident voice, gets their case type identified, conflict-checked, and either books a consult or gets a structured callback scheduled.
Case-type triage
Aria identifies whether the call is PI, family, criminal, estate, immigration, business, or another practice area, asks the right follow-up questions for that area, and routes accordingly. No more PI leads landing on the family law calendar.
Preliminary conflict checks
Aria collects the prospect's name, the opposing party's name (where known), and basic case facts, then runs a preliminary check against your conflict database before the consult is confirmed. Final conflict clearance still belongs to your attorneys.
Structured intake summaries
Before the consult, the attorney gets a written summary — case type, facts, parties, dates, urgency, and any preliminary conflict flags. Consults start at minute one, not minute twenty.
Existing-client routing
Aria recognizes existing clients, routes case-status questions to the right paralegal or attorney, captures messages with case-matter context, and keeps prospect intake from drowning out client service.
Consult booking with retainer expectations
Aria explains your consultation fee structure (free, flat, or hourly), confirms what the prospect should bring, and books directly to the right attorney's calendar — with reminders so no-shows drop.
Real call types Aria handles
Illustrative — your version is configured for your practice areas and conflict policies.
"I was rear-ended on the freeway yesterday"
Aria captures date and location of the accident, injuries, medical treatment so far, insurance details, and whether the other driver was cited. It checks for any conflict with the at-fault driver, books a same-week consult with your PI attorney, and sends pre-consult instructions.
Aria: I'm sorry that happened. Were you taken to the ER or seen by a doctor?
Caller: I went to the ER. They said whiplash and a possible concussion.
Aria: Got it. Do you have the other driver's name and insurance information?
"I think I want to file for divorce"
Aria handles the call with appropriate care, captures spouse name (for conflict check), children's names and ages, length of marriage, whether either party has already filed, and urgency. It does not give legal advice — it books a consult and confirms the consultation fee.
"My mother passed and I need to handle her estate"
Aria captures the decedent's information, county of residence, whether there's a will, approximate estate size, and other heirs (for conflict). It books a probate consult and sends a document checklist — death certificate copies, will, asset list — so the consult is productive.
"A vendor breached our contract and I need to figure out next steps"
Aria captures both parties' names (entity-level conflict check), the nature of the dispute, contract value range, and timing pressure. It routes to your commercial litigation partner with a structured fact pattern and books accordingly.
"I'm a current client — when is my hearing?"
Aria recognizes the caller, confirms identity, surfaces the next scheduled court date or matter milestone, and either answers within scope or routes the message to the assigned paralegal with full context. Prospect intake never blocks client service.
Built for law firms
Built for legal intake
Aria knows the difference between a PI question and an estate question, asks the right follow-ups for each practice area, and runs preliminary conflict checks before a consult is booked.
Custom-built per firm
Aria is configured to your practice areas, your fee structures, your conflict database, and your attorney calendars. Pricing is tailored to call volume and integrations.
Attorneys stay in control
Aria does not give legal advice. It captures, triages, and books. Every decision that requires legal judgment goes to your attorneys — with a structured summary in hand.
Figures above are illustrative ranges based on typical Aria deployments. Results vary by firm size, practice mix, and current intake process maturity.
Frequently asked questions
Will Aria give legal advice?
No. Aria captures facts, identifies case type, runs preliminary conflict checks, and books consults. Anything requiring legal judgment — including whether a matter has merit — goes to your attorneys. We instruct Aria explicitly not to opine on legal questions.
How does the preliminary conflict check work?
Aria queries your conflict database (or a database we maintain with you) against names captured during intake. A potential match flags the file for attorney review before the consult is confirmed. Final clearance is always your call — Aria's check is preliminary.
Will my callers know they're talking to AI?
Aria identifies as an AI assistant if asked directly. We design the voice and pacing to feel natural and confident, but we never instruct Aria to deceive callers about what it is.
Does Aria handle Spanish-speaking callers?
Yes. Aria supports intake in multiple languages including Spanish. Many firms see a meaningful share of intake in Spanish; Aria handles those calls with the same structured triage as English.
Can Aria collect consultation fees?
Aria can communicate consultation fee expectations and route the prospect to secure payment processing for paid consults. The actual payment flow uses your existing payment processor — we do not handle funds.
What about confidentiality and privilege?
Pre-engagement intake is not yet privileged, but Aria handles all caller information with appropriate confidentiality. Calls are stored under access controls you configure. We discuss specific privilege concerns at deployment scoping.
What does Aria cost for a law firm?
Aria is custom-built per firm. Pricing reflects call volume, practice areas, conflict-check scope, and integrations. We share a quote after a short discovery call — no public price list because no two firms have the same intake profile.
What Aria does — and doesn't — do for law firms
We're explicit about scope. Legal intake gets misused by bad voice agents; we won't let that happen with ours.
What Aria does
Answers prospect and client calls. Identifies practice area. Captures case facts and party names. Runs preliminary conflict checks. Communicates your consultation fee structure. Books consults to the right attorney. Sends pre-consult instructions. Routes existing-client calls by matter. Handles outbound follow-up to consult no-shows or prospects who didn't book.
What Aria does not do
Give legal advice. Tell a prospect whether their case has merit. Quote settlement values. Predict outcomes. Confirm representation has begun. Take retainer payments outside your secure payment processor. Discuss strategy for existing matters. Speak on behalf of an attorney about a pending case. Override a final conflict-clearance decision.
Aria captures and routes. Attorneys make the legal calls. Every conversation that requires legal judgment goes to a person with a bar number — without exception. That's how we keep both the firm and the prospect on solid ground.
How a typical law-firm deployment works
Most firms go from first conversation to live answering in three to five weeks.
Engagement intake
The operation gets read end-to-end: practice areas, attorney roster, fee structures, consult policies, conflict-database access.
What gets delivered
Aria configured to your intake flows for each practice area, your conflict-check approach, your consult booking rules, and any CRM integration.
Production deployment
Aria starts on a defined slice — one practice area or one office — then graduates to the full front desk.
Live operation
Once initial coverage is clean, Aria expands to full scope. Weekly call quality reports keep your intake manager in the loop.
Ongoing tuning
Practice areas evolve, attorneys join and leave, consultation policies change. Aria is kept current.
Reporting
You see what Aria booked, what was routed, what was flagged, and which prospects became consults. Lead-to-consult math becomes real.
